1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Alfred Family AI ("Alfred," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@alfredfamily.ai.

3. Description of Service

Alfred is an AI-powered family organization application that provides meal planning, chore management, grocery lists, family calendar coordination, daily briefings, and related features. Features may vary by subscription tier and may be modified over time.

4. Subscription & Payment

Alfred offers Free, Premium, and Pro subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your billing cycle, after which your account will revert to the Free tier.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Alfred (meal plans, chore lists, photos, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

Alfred, its logo, design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of Alfred Family AI. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Alfred is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alfred Family AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of Alfred after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
